■ Vehicle identification number
The vehicle identification number (VIN) is the legal identifier for your vehicle. This is the primary identification number for your Toyota. It is used in registering the ownership of your vehicle.
This number is stamped on the top left of the instrument panel.

Lubrication system
*: The engine oil capacity is a reference quantity to be used when changing the engine oil. Warm up and turn off the engine, wait more than 5 minutes, and check the oil level on the dipstick.
■ Engine oil selection
“Toyota Genuine Motor Oil” is used in your Toyota vehicle. Use Toyota approved “Toyota Genuine Motor Oil” or equivalent to satisfy the following grade and viscosity.
Oil grade: ILSAC GF-5 multigrade engine oil
Recommended viscosity:
2.7 L 4-cylinder (2TR-FE) engine SAE 0W-20
SAE 0W-20 is the best choice for good fuel economy and good starting in cold weather.
If SAE 0W-20 is not available, SAE 5W-20 oil may be used.
However, it must be replaced with SAE 0W-20 at the next oil change.
Oil viscosity (0W-20 is explained here as an example): ● The 0W in 0W-20 indicates the characteristic of the oil which allows cold startability. Oils with a lower value before the W allow for easier starting of the engine in cold weather.
● The 20 in 0W-20 indicates the viscosity characteristic of the oil when the oil is at high temperature. An oil with a higher viscosity (one with a higher value) may be better suited if the vehicle is operated at high speeds, or under extreme load conditions.
4.0 L V6 (1GR-FE) engine SAE 5W-30
SAE 5W-30 is the best choice for good fuel economy and good starting in cold weather.
If SAE 5W-30 is not available, SAE 10W-30 oil may be used.
However, it should be replaced with SAE 5W-30 at the next oil change.
Oil viscosity (5W-30 is explained here as an example): ● The 5W in 5W-30 indicates the characteristic of the oil which allows cold startability. Oils with a lower value before the W allow for easier starting of the engine in cold weather.
● The 30 in 5W-30 indicates the viscosity characteristic of the oil when the oil is at high temperature. An oil with a higher viscosity (one with a higher value) may be better suited if the vehicle is operated at high speeds, or under extreme load conditions.
How to read oil container label: The International Lubricant Specification Advisory Committee (ILSAC) Certification Mark is added to some oil containers to help you select the oil you should use.

Used toyota corolla manual transmission. Why The 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback With A Manual Is Such A Big Deal. Toyota told me that it has an increased body rigidity and lower center of gravity. That, paired with the new high compression 2.0-liter engine—it seemed like the manual was the last piece that was needed and it’s just what we got. Jul 16, 2018 July 16, 2018 - The 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback's six-speed manual transmission option is perhaps the best stick shift out there for learners. Three-pedal transmission options are few and far between these days, but luckily, Toyota is keeping the hope alive with its new 2019 Corolla Hatchback. Not only does this five-door bring the sporting hotness thanks to its sharp styling and nippy handling, but its six-speed gearbox is extremely forgiving to those new to ways of the stick shift. Fiat also offers the tiny 500 hatchback with a manual transmission. While the base 500 is one of the least expensive hatchbacks at a starting price of just $14,995, the top-of-the-line 500 Abarth ($19,995) is one of the most fun to drive. Oct 23, 2018 All in all, it gives the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback a classic driving feel but with better efficiency and a smoother ride! The 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback’s Entune 3.0 Infotainment System Of course, there’s more to the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback than just a great manual transmission!
